Payment due. You pay, I bake! Payment is required up front so that I can source your cute cutters, spectacular sprinkles, and perfect packaging. Your payment reserves your pick-up date too! Win-win for all of us!
Refunds. I can offer refunds up to 24 hours after your payment is accepted. Unfortunately, after that time, I cannot offer refunds as I’ve likely already sourced your cookie cutters, decorations, and other ingredients. But, good news: you get the cookies!
Delivery Clause. Pick-up in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, scheduled at a mutually convenient time, is preferred. However, delivery may be an option within 15 miles, with an additional fee of $.56/mile.
Pickup Dates and Times. We strive to accommodate your schedule when setting pick-up/delivery times upon receiving your order. This is because other customers need their cookie fix too. Please place that date and time in your calendar, as we may not be able to reschedule!
No show = no cookies. These cookies are best enjoyed fresh! Not showing up to the agreed-upon pickup time forfeits your order. But take heart: we’ll donate to a family in need. Need to reschedule? Please reach out 3 days (or more) prior to your scheduled pickup.
Weather Clause. If pick-up is impossible due to inclement weather, we’ll hold your order for a rescheduled pick-up date. Unfortunately, no refunds can be offered due to weather (darn rain), but we will make sure your order is kept as fresh as possible!
Change Cutoff. Decisions are tough! But we’re here to help. Order changes can be made until one week before your pickup. After that, all change requests will be under consideration and a small fee will apply.
Inspiration. Thanks tons for sharing your inspo pictures! They’re just that: inspiring. Please understand your cookies may not be perfect replicas. Rest assured, we’ll try to keep it close.
Covid Care. We know that you can’t control when you have come in contact with a person who has Covid, and we want to work with you. Need to reschedule your event? We can freeze your cookies for 2 weeks so you can stay home and rest.
In a hurry? While I can’t accommodate all last-minute orders, I will make my best effort to do so. Custom cut-out orders placed with a turnaround time of under 7 days will require a rush fee of $20.
Price Adjustments. All prices are subject to change. Prices are largely dictated by the cost of ingredients. I’m always trying to provide the best tasting cookies to my clients. This also means I can’t honor old pricing (because my suppliers won’t honor their old butter and vanilla prices, darn it).
Product Photography. Say Cheese! We create replicas of client orders to photograph these pretty sweet lookin’ sweets. If you do not want your cookies in the spotlight, please let me know at the time you place your order. Secrets are safe with me.
No Copycats. Copyrighted images and logos (think Star Wars and Peppa Pig) are protected, so I’m not able to replicate them on your baked goods (who wants cookie controversy, right?). However, I do have lots of options for making cookies that complement your theme and colors—so let’s chat about the best way to get you what you want!
Pictures are worth a thousand words. But they’re not always accurate. Colors and lighting in photos may be slightly different than what you end up with. Also, cookies in photos may not be true to size (which is a bummer, because frankly, I’d love to eat an 8.5×11” cookie).
Eenie Meenie Order Minimums. (That didn’t rhyme … I’m a baker, not a poet.) I require a minimum order of 1 dozen! Need fewer? Stay tuned for pop-up shops and flash sales announced on my Facebook page! Need more? Good news: there’s no such thing as a maximum order!
It’s All Yours Now. Once you pick up your order (thanks again, by the way), what happens to your cookies and car doors (I hate door dings) is all on you! Keep ’em safe, keep ’em cool, and keep ’em away from the parking lot cart returns.
No Ghosts (I’m easily spooked). To get your order juuust right, I may need to follow up with you to clarify details. I ask that you please reply to my messages within 12 hours; otherwise, I may just have to wing it. Questions for me? Please ask away, but kindly give me about 4 working hours to reply … I’m usually covered in dough and/or buttercream icing.
Achoo! Allergies? My baked goods are often made with foods that can be known allergens, including milk (butter), eggs, and wheat (flour). Some varieties include tree nuts, peanuts, or soy. While I will try to accommodate your needs, I can’t always fulfill allergy-conscious orders. Please do reach out and we’ll try to figure it out together.
Cottage Food Laws. Our cookies are home produced, and baked with love in a kitchen that is not nut-free, peanut-free, egg-free, dairy-free or gluten-free.
In Sickness and in Health. While death will never do us part, you’re consuming food, and with the consumption of anything (including that bottle of wine last night) there are inherent risks including choking hazards, food illnesses, and/or allergic reactions. We run a tight ship and do our utmost to guard against these and other hazards, but are not liable on the rare chance they occur.
Pay means Yay. Once you’ve submitted (awesome) payment for your (awesome) order because you’re awesome, you’re accepting the above terms. Which is awesome because my cookies are awesome. Awesome!
